James D. Roberts has a BFA in product design and masters and PhD.
degrees in computer engineering.  As consultant, small-business owner, and
employee he has over 30 years experience, going back to the early Intel
8051 days.  He has been active in solar energy and energy conservation.  
Projects have also included electronic effects for a  major motion picture
and a major amusement park. He has worked in the aerospace industry on
real-time parallel embedded systems for image processing and other
applications.
